Within the gas supply market, all commercial customers are eligible to choose their supplier. All customers using Combined Heat and Power (generation of electricity on their own site) are also eligible to choose their supplier.

Bord Gáis Energy has two principal business streams, namely the supply of natural gas to all market sectors and the supply of electricity to commercial customers.
